FORMER REGIONAL ORGANISER, APPIAH-MENSAH PLEADS WITH GHANIANS TO BE PATIENT WITH THE GOVERNMENT

The former Brong-Ahafo Regional Organiser, Mr Debie Appiah-Mensah has recently in an interview disclosed that Ghanians need to be patient with the Akufo-Addo's administration as it is yet to recover the economy from wilderness the NDC party under the administration the former president, John Mahama has left it in.
“We want to remind President Nana Akufo-Addo that his government is threading on a good path. We are aware it has not been easy, but we believe that with time, majority of Ghanaians will understand him better and enjoy,” Debie said.
He also added that most of the social intervention programme implemented by the present government would yeild outcome from next year, 2019. Mr Debie went ahead to appeal to Ghanians to be patient and hope for better socio-economic living conditions.
The NPP member made reference to biblical terms as a means to widen his explanations, he explained that in the spiritual aspect, constant faith is required for God's promise to be fulfilled in one's life backed with patience.
He also pleaded with the Government to shun critics and focus on their course to strenghtening the economy, claiming that Ghanians are aware of the hard times the Government had to pass through in order to ensure that it brought the economy back on track.
Appiah backed this by referencing some of the programmes the Government implemented and were great success. Programmes such as the Free Senior High Programme, Planting for for food and jobs(PfFJs) and the Nation Builders Corps (NaBCo).
He also linked the restoration of the Nurses and Teachers allowance as part of the Government's achievement.
The former Regional Organiser, Mensah warned the Government that they need to resource various polling stations and Constituency executives in order to ensure a they still retain power after 2020 election.
“We must work hard, search, identify and embrace all defectors and disgruntled members, bring them on board and promote vigorous electioneering,” he added.
