CHAOS, AS GHANA MICRO-FINANCE COMPANY FAILS TO PAY CUSTOMERS: MANAGEMENT MISSING

December draws nearer and trusts are set to be destroyed as one of the Micro finance firms in Ghana fails to give proper account of the clients' deposit.


November 19th was a bad day for customers of a micro-finance company located at Aggrey street, close Christian Village junction by name; Capital House and Finance Limited.

Things turned sour when the management of the firm refused to pay the customers as the contract they signed stated. The customers raided the office, when the management of the company insisted they come back later for their money.

 Reports were gathered that the customers have been coming daily for their money for the past two weeks, and whenever they come, the management of Capital House and Finance Limited would post-pone their payment date.

 Due to the heat of the incident, the Ghana Police force was phoned. The Police got to the scene as quick as they could and engaged the management in a closed door meeting so as to  know the situation of things and also to understand why the firm have been delaying their customer's payment.

 50 minutes later, the Police came out with the owner of the organization, with a decision to take the management to the Station to ensure a proper investigation, but the customers refused the owner of the company from leaving the environment. The Police tried to explain to the people why the management had to follow them to the Station, but they do not want to listen to the Police because they feared that the idea is a plan to get the man away from the scene so that he would go Scott free.
The Police went round the building and took several pictures of the rented flat that is on a storey building and  locked up the office.












The owner of the company tried to head to the police station as the police commanded but the customers crowded his car. I was so shocked when the man  revised in a top speed, not minding the people surrounding the car.
The men around chased his car and some even threw stones at him but he drove quicker than the people's foot could carry them.

 The customers were left with no other option than to board a bus and head to the Achimota Police Station where the matter will be settled.
